A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq.
“I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.”
Said on stopping at any place, particularly when breaking a journey. Nothing will harm the one who says it until they move on from that place.

A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa hammah, wa min kulli 'aynin lammah.
“I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every harmful, envious eye.”
The Prophet used these words to seek protection for Hasan and Husayn, saying Ibrahim had used them for Isma'il and Ishaq. When said over two children the opening word becomes "U'idhukuma".

Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah. Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyata fi dini wa dunyaya wa ahli wa mali. Allahummastur 'awrati wa amin raw'ati. “O Allah, I ask You for wellbeing in this world and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and wellbeing in my religion, my worldly life, my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, guard me from in front of me and behind me, on my right and on my left, and from above me; and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being taken unawares from beneath me.”
Ibn Umar reported the Prophet never left off these words morning or evening. Waki' explained "from beneath me" as being swallowed up by the earth.

Allahu la ilaha illa huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard. Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih. Wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samawati wal-ard. Wa la ya'uduhu hifzuhuma. Wa huwal-'Aliyyul-'Azim.
“Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what lies before them and what lies behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.”
Recited before sleeping and after each obligatory prayer. Sahih al-Bukhari 2311 records that whoever recites it on going to bed has a guardian from Allah and no devil comes near until morning.
