ما كان يُقال عند الحزن والخوف والدَّين والمرض.
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin.
“There is no god but You. Glory be to You. I have indeed been among the wrongdoers.”
The call of Yunus from within the darkness, made when he had no way out by his own means. Said at moments of acute difficulty.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
La ilaha illallahul-'Azimul-Halim. La ilaha illallahu Rabbus-samawati wal-ard, Rabbul-'arshil-'azim.
“There is no god but Allah, the Most Great, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Mighty Throne.”
Ibn Abbas reported this as what the Prophet said when gripped by distress. Bukhari records it in the chapter on supplication at times of anxiety.

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو، فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma rahmataka arju, fala takilni ila nafsi tarfata 'ayn, wa aslih li sha'ni kullah, la ilaha illa ant.
“O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye, and put all my affairs in order. There is no god but You.”
Introduced in the narration itself as "the supplications of the distressed".

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wal-'ajzi wal-kasal, wal-jubni wal-bukhl, wa dala'id-dayn, wa ghalabatir-rijal.
“O Allah, I seek refuge with You from anxiety and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from the burden of debt, and from being overpowered by others.”
Anas ibn Malik said he heard the Prophet say this frequently. It names eight specific burdens rather than distress in general.

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allahummakfini bihalalika 'an haramik, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak.
“O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful so that I have no need of what You have forbidden, and enrich me by Your bounty so that I have no need of anyone besides You.”
Taught to a man who had a written agreement to buy his freedom and could not meet the payments.

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ
As'alullahal-'Azima Rabbal-'arshil-'azimi an yashfiyak.
“I ask Allah the Most Great, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to cure you.”
Said seven times beside someone who is ill and whose time has not yet come.
